Rick Burgess has 30+ years of business experience and knowledge in executive search, human resources consulting and call center operations. He is currently the President and Founder of Burgess Executive Search & Consulting, a multi-million dollar global executive search and HR consulting firm. Rick is one of the industry leaders in the executive search industry. In 1996, Rick saw the need to break from traditional executive search practices that lacked flexibility and focus on individual client needs. He and his firm developed a client focused approach that has been widely received over the years. As a result, his firm has developed a distinguished list of client companies, including Fortune 500 Companies, midsize companies and start-ups.

Prior to executive search, Rick had a successful corporate career in senior management with Fortune 500 Companies including AT&T, Sprint, Merck-Medco and TD Ameritrade. During this nineteen-year period, Rick specialized in operations and later in providing human resources and organizational development support to large scale call centers operations.

Rick graduated from the Towson University in Baltimore, MD with a Bachelor s Degree in Human Resource Management. Prior to attending Towson University he attended Graceland University in Lamoni, IA.

Rick values time with family and he enjoys a wide variety of music. He also enjoys working out, cooking & entertaining, snow skiing and traveling the world.
